Being Our Own Chairperson
It is November and election time. So, who and what are you to vote for or against? We have just recently watched hours of television news special reports, scanned countless newspaper headlines and heard ample radio personalities' one liners addressing the state of American politics. Local candidates spar each other about "the issues" at hand and each other's assorted ideas about city and county growth positions. Developers have contributed funds to certain aspirant's races who will support their utopian land uses for vast housing projects and commercial business ventures.
In essence, after all is said and done each of us is left alone with our own survival. Society's promises of "cradle to the grave" financial assistance and medical care are now out of the question. So we ask ourselves, what are we going to do about "the situation" ? Then we must elect our self to take matters into our own hands and vote responsibly to help rebuild "the system". As the near death experience points out, we alone sit in judgment before our Creator at the end of this journey. Knowing this, we must then take every opportunity to create a great "life movie" to share with our Dad.
When we reach out and embrace our neighbors we see pictures that enhance everyday life in our own international community.
