A Man In Perpetual Motion
As Peace Arch City residents we recognize that we live next door to our Canadian neighbors, often in more than one way. As a nation we share the border line with Canada. Then on a much more personal note many Canadians have crossed the line and purchased houses, condos and trailers to become our genuine next door neighbors. Regardless of each other's nationality we are all too busy to really get to know our neighbors. We see each other doing yard work, taking out the garbage and recycling or when going to the store or to and from work. Say, what is his name?
Our new neighbor Ian Wood was born in London 60 years ago but now lives and owns a business in Burnaby, BC. His every other weekend jaunts to Blaine,WA with his wife Catharine and three year old daughter Madeline really brighten up the neighborhood. Ian's speciality auto service business is apply named Rear Ends Only. When he is not working, parenting or spending time in either of his two houses, Ian is a successful professional race car driver. His summers are spent driving to and around race tracks all over the US and Canada. Hope to see you soon again Ian!
